Northumbria Police and data protection

An investigation by the Sunday Sun has revealed that more than 100 Police officers in Northumbria have been found to have breached data protection laws in the past two years. Nationally, Northumbria Police have recorded the largest number of data breaches, with 33 recorded over the past two years - nineteen in 2009 and 14 the year before.
