Earthquake 8.7 – Relevance of Planetary Alignments

Today a major earthquake hit 500 km off the coast of Indonesia with a strength of 8.7 followed by many aftershocks. In our quest to better understand patterns of when earthquakes of such magnitude happen, we now can see a direct relationship with planetary alignments and their position towards the sun. This path is being studied in depth as with the foreseen events towards the end of 2012, the relevance is that much bigger and confirming these predictions with yet another major earthquake at a time of planetary alignments. The tsunami alerts have been cancelled as the quake was a horizontal one which moves less water volume.

Let’s have a closer look at recent history and how planetary alignments seem to happen around the time of such major earthquakes on Earth:

April 11, 2012: earthquake of 8.7 on the Richter scale

Today Earth – Mars and Neptune are nearly lined up

March 11, 2011: earthquake of 9.0 on the Richter scale

- March 9th: Earth – Mercury and Uranus lined up

February 27, 2010: earthquake of 8.8 on the Richter scale

- February 27th: Earth – Mercury – Neptune lined up

December 26, 2004: earthquake of 9.1 on the Richter scale

- December 27th: Earth – Venus – Mercury lined up

March 28, 1964: earthquake of 9.2 on the Richter scale

- March 23rd: Venus – Earth – Neptune in one line

- March 27th – 4 planets lined up: Mars – Mercury- Venus – Uranus

May 22, 1960: earthquake of 9.5 on the Richter scale

- May 21st: Mars – Uranus – Mercury lined up

- May 22nd: Neptune helio-centric connection with Earth

Once again coincidences or not? Either way, this is raising many more questions about the cataclysmic events that are predicted for the end of this year:

December 17 – 18, 2012: Triple Line Up of Jupiter – Earth – Mercury

December 21 – 22, 2012: Triple Line Up of Jupiter – Earth – Venus

Closer to today’s date is the 22nd of April 2012 when a major CME is expected as a result of planetary alignments. See previous post on this.

Christ’s words in his own language

By Stephen Andrew Missick

Jesus did not speak English, Latin or Greek-Jesus spoke Aramaic!

© Copyright 2012 Stephen Andrew Missick

What language did Jesus speak and why does it matter?

The life of Jesus was the most important live ever lived. Jesus literally divided and changed history. The words of Jesus are the most important words ever spoken. This is especially true for the Christian. As this is true it is very important to understand the cultural and historical context of the spoken words of Jesus Christ and the original language in which his words were spoken. The evidence from the New Testament, archeology, the Church Fathers, and other textual evidence indicates that Jesus spoke Aramaic. Many Aramaic words are found scattered throughout the text of the New Testament. Aramaic is a language that is closely related to Hebrew. (Aramaic and Hebrew both evolved separately from an earlier extinct language called Proto-Semitic.) Aramaic is on of the original languages of the Old Testament. Ezra and Daniel contained lengthy sections that are written in Aramaic.

Jesus' Aramaic words-Abba, Father and others

In several occasions in the Gospels, Jesus is quoted speaking in his native Aramaic language. Those familiar with the Bible are familiar with Aramaic, although they may not realize it. One of the most well-known Aramaic words in the New Testament is the word that Jesus used for His Heavenly Father-Abba. Certain Aramaic scholars feel that this word is a more intimate word than "Father" and it's meaning is closer to the word "Daddy." Jesus gave his disciples Aramaic nicknames. This is seen in the name Cephas (actually Kefa) the Aramaic version of "Peter" which is used in the Gospel of John and in the Epistles of Paul. Jesus named James and John "Boanerges" which means "Sons of Thunder" in Aramaic. Other Aramaic names include Martha (Aramaic for "lady"), Thomas (Aramaic for "twin") and Magdalene (Aramaic for "tower"). In Hebrew "Ben" means "Son." However, we most often find the Aramaic form "Bar" (meaning "Son") in the New Testament in names like Barnabas ("Son of Encouragement" in Aramaic), Barabbas ("Son of the Father" in Aramaic) and Bartholomew (probably Aramaic for "Son of Ptolemy.").

Jesus: The Son of Man and Maranatha

About 80 times in the Bible, Jesus calls himself "the Son of Man." In Aramaic this is "Barnasha" and has many levels of meaning including meaning "A Human Being" or "a person." It seems that Jesus was quoting the Aramaic section of the Book of Daniel that refers to a cosmic pre-existent Messiah who brings the Kingdom of God. Daniel calls this mysterious figure-the Son of Man.

Paul closes his First Epistle to the Corinthians with a short Aramaic prayer-Maran atha. This is Aramaic for "Our Lord-come!" So we see that for the earliest Aramaic speaking Christians Jesus was Lord.

The Passion of the Christ

Many Christians have never heard of Aramaic. However, those who watched the movie "The Passion of the Christ" have been exposed to Aramaic. Most of this movie is in Aramaic. (There are a few Hebrew expressions used in the movie and there are also sections in the film that are in Latin.) When Jesus was on the cross of Golgotha (Aramaic for "the Place of the Skull") He said, "Eloi, Eloi lama sabachtani." This is Aramaic for "My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me." (If Jesus had been speaking Hebrew he would have said, "Eli, Eli, lama azabtani." The words Jesus is quoted as speaking in the Gospel are Aramaic and not Hebrew.) Jesus was quoting Psalm 22. Psalm 22 along with Isaiah 53 are Old Testament prophecies about the crucifixion and the atonement.

Aramaic and the Apostles: Thaddeus and Thomas

According to ancient Aramaic documents and writings of the Church Fathers, the Apostles Thaddeus and Thomas carried Christianity to the Aramaic speaking people of Assyria and Babylonia. According to the story, an Assyrian king named Abgar heard of the miracle working power of Jesus of Nazareth. He sent a message to Jesus to come and heal him and to dwell in his kingdom. Jesus refused to go but promised to send an apostle after his resurrection and ascension. At the day of Pentecost, Thomas, filled with the Holy Spirit, sent Thaddeus to plant the Gospel in Mesopotamia. The Assyrians believed and converted. Later, Thomas also preached to the Assyrians on his way to India.

The Assyrian Church of the East

Jesus spoke of the Assyrians (or Ninevites) who repented at the preaching of Jonah. Every year, the Assyrian Christians celebrate a festival called "The Rogation of the Ninevites" to remember how their ancestors believed in the One True God in ancient times. Founded by the Apostles, the Assyrian Church of the East is the church of the Assyrians and its heartland was Mesopotamia (although it extended to the furthest regions of the East). The Assyrian Church of the East is one of the churches of the Aramaic Church tradition. (Other churches included the Chaldean Catholic Church, the Syrian Orthodox Church and the Maronite Church. There are also the Mandaean Baptists but they follow John the Baptist and not Jesus and are not Christians.)

Aramaic Christians in China, Mongolia and India

Jesus told his followers to carry his message to all of the world. The Aramaic Christians took this command very seriously. Before the year 800 A.D. they had planted churches in China, India, Mongolia and even on remote islands off of the coast of Africa such as Socotra. Due to religious persecution coming from radical Muslims and other factors these churches (with the exception of the church of India) have disappeared. Inscriptions in Chinese, Mongolian and Aramaic have been found all across Central Asia and China and the remains of old churches and scrolls containing Christian teachings have been found by archeologists.

Aramaic Church Fathers

Many are familiar with the Church Fathers who wrote in Greek and Latin. However, several Church Fathers wrote in Aramaic. These Church Fathers wrote in a form of Aramaic called Syriac. ("Aram" is actually an old way of saying Syria.) Syriac is very close to the form of Aramaic that was spoken by Jesus Christ and his Apostles. Tatian the Assyrian was a disciple of the famous Saint Justin Martyr. Tatian the Assyrian was the first person to compose a harmony of the Gospels. He did this in a Greek and an Aramaic edition. Saint Ephraim is another famous Aramaic Church Fathers. There were many Aramaic theologians and Bible scholars whose writings have come down to us.

The Aramaic Bible

Parts of the Old Testament were written in Aramaic. Some time after the Babylonian Captivity and the return to the land of Israel under Ezra and Nehemiah, Aramaic had displaced Hebrew as the primary spoken language of many of the Jewish people in the land of Israel. Translations of the Bible into Aramaic were made so that the people could know the Bible. (Jesus is quoted in the Gospels as recited an Aramaic version of Psalm 22 from the cross.) Some of these Aramaic Bibles, called Targumim, have been discovered among the Dead Sea Scrolls. The Jewish people have preserved Targumim and still use them. With the spread of Aramaic Christianity, it was necessary to have an Aramaic version of the New Testament in order to meet the spiritual needs of Assyrian Christians. The Bible used by Aramaic Christians is called the Syriac Peshitta. (Scholars believe that the Peshitta Old Testament is a Targum translated by an ancient sect of Messianic Jews.)

The Rise of Islam

The emergence of Islam was the greatest tragedy that befell the Aramaic Christians. Muslims invaded their homeland and then persecuted and exploited the Christians. According to the injunctions of the Koran, Muslims waged war against Christians, Christians were placed in a status of humiliation and were forced to pay protection money called the Jizya (Koran 9:29). Muslim leaders constantly extorted huge sums of money from the Christian peoples they had conquered. Many could not afford to pay the "jizya" tax they were required to pay in order to be allowed to continue to practice Christianity and so they converted. Over time, the number of Christians diminished. Although there were occasional tolerant Muslim leaders who refused to implement the brutal and barbaric Sharia legal system of discrimination upon the Christians, every 50 years or so Assyrian Christians (as well as the Coptic Christians in Egypt) endured horrific persecutions that included Muslims massacring multitudes of Christians.

The Current Plight of Middle Eastern Christians

Sadly, the Islamic persecution of Christians is not a thing of the past. In the beginning of the twentieth century Muslims killed over one million Armenian (and Assyrian) Christians. At the end of the twentieth century, over a million Sudanese Christians were killed by Muslims. At the beginning of the twenty-first century, the persecution of Assyrian Christians in Mesopotamia and the Coptic Christians of Egypt has intensified. In 2004 Muslim radicals bombed churches across Baghdad during religious services. On October 31, 2010, a horrific church massacre occurred in Baghdad in which over fifty Christians were viciously slaughtered. When making the movie "The Passion of the Christ" Mel Gibson said that he was filming it in an extinct language. However, Aramaic isn't extinct yet. Certain Christians in the Middle East and Middle East Christian immigrant communities in the west still speak Aramaic. Aramaic is a threatened language because radical Muslims are attempting to ethnic cleanse the Middle East of its indigenous Christian communities and assimilation to the west (which includes the loss of Aramaic-speaking) is a rapid process.

A List of Aramaic Words in the New Testament

Abba, Father

And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible to thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt. (Mark 14:36)

The Aramaic word "Abba" is also found in the writings of Paul in Romans 8:15 and Galatians 4:6) Abba is an Aramaic loan word in Modern Hebrew. The Hebrew word is "avi." God is called "Father" over 100 times in the Gospels!

Eloi, Eloi lama sabachtani

And at the ninth hour, Jesus shouted in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi lema sabachtani?" which is translated, "My God, my God, for what have you forsaken me?" (Mark 15:34) See also Matthew 27:46.

Talitha Koum

And taking the hand of the child, he said to her, "Talitha koum," which is translated, "Little girl, I say to you, get up." (Mark 5:41)

Maranatha

"Maranatha" 1 Corinthians 16:22. This word is also used in the Didache. It means "Come, Our Lord." The word for "Lord" in Hebrew is "Adonai."

Cephas

Jesus looked at him and said, "You are Simon son of John. You will be called Cephas" (which, when translated, is Peter). NIV footnote: Both Cephas (Aramaic) and Peter (Greek) mean rock. John 1:42. (See also 1 Corinthians 1:12 and Galatians 2:9).

THERE ARE MANY MORE ARAMAIC WORDS FOUND SCATTERED IN THE TEXT OF THE NEW TESTAMENT.

Rick Santorum, Iran, Israel and Nostradamus’ Antichrist

This is such an evocative painting. Does anyone know who painted it?

!PROPHECY NEW FLASH!

AMERICA’S BIGGEST LOSER CHOSEN

Mitt Romney to Win GOP Nomination

As Foreseen in:

Predictions for 2012

(DATELINE 10 April 2012) Rick Santorum suspended his bid to become the Republican presidential nominee in 2012. I listened to his rambling speech about all the good he had done and the love he had felt all across the country. Personal reflections are best left concise, leaving your audience wanting, but Santorum just kept going and going with what I felt were his rather narcissistic observations, like a suck of a public speaker saying his farewells one-too-many because he can’t let go of the mike and face the oncoming irrelevance. The all-too-forgettable conversation with himself at the national attention’s expense finally got to the point with less than a minute left in his speech and it was quite telling what he “didn’t” then say.

Rick Santorum.

Santorum neither surrendered his 285 delegates to Mitt Romney, nor completely quit the race. His campaign was “suspended” until further notice even though he would “fight on”. In addition, even more ringing in its absence was any mention of the consistent front-runner Romney who he had so viciously attacked throughout the campaign. Santorum may like to roll out his Christian values, but I did not hear forgiveness and reconciliation, or any retracting of the terrible things he said on the campaign trail.

The 2012 Republican primaries had just about every wannabe historically stray from President Ronald Reagan’s 11th Commandment: (Thou shall not say anything negative about other Republican candidates.

Santorum was Sid San-Vicious! Moreover, Santorum gave Barack Obama’s Democratic Party campaign absolute golden zingers to bark and chew on with etch-a-sketch metaphors to damage Mitt Romney’s presidential bid against the incumbent president.

Santorum made it clear that he would go on fighting for the social conservative agenda, leaving it ambiguous if he would still be fighting Romney at the convention about these – some might say “Neo” as in “Neolithic” conservative values. Santorum is unchastened about effectively driving Left, Center and even Right leaning female voters away from Republican candidates, including Romney who seems to have suffered political collateral damage with women voters even though he did not disparage or openly attack issues that have long been settled and left behind by most Americans. Santorum would not let sleeping controversies lie. He pontificated about the evils of birth control, contraception, gay rights and a number of other feminine-phobic, right-winged, white male, papal-approved, Catholically canon issues that haven’t been mainstream concerns since the 1960s.

Mitt Romney.

Rick Santorum believes his winning 11 states and backing out before the Pennsylvania primary wherein he was expected to be slammed, has somehow graciously and timely paved the way for his return to the presidential campaign circuit in 2016 or 2020.

I want to say for the prophetic record that Rick Santorum’s future as a presidential candidate died with a self-graduating, self-patting on the back ramble before a wrinkled sheet sized US flag in some shabby looking room in Gettysburg PA.

He’ll certainly run in 2016, but he will find a Republican Party at that time trying to re-brand itself as a more moderate choice than the extremely Right lurching party of today, which is set to politically hamstring itself in 2012.

Those of you who have already enjoyed reading my prophecies for 2012 in my annual e-Almanac released 21 December 2011, had seen my oracle anticipate Mitt Romney’s unstoppable ascendency as candidate in Chapter 7: Primates in Primaries for President. In it I compared the GOP debating club on television, starting with bi-weekly network debates ad nauseum in May 2011, as a GOP Survivor reality show. I managed to use just about every reality show title to describe each candidate. I think today’s end to Rick Santorum’s presidential bid (for life, I would add) requires I share a few pertinent passages as well as explain why I only mentioned Mitt Romney at the very end of my e-book’s GOP Nostra-standup comedian script:

For Rick Santorum I wrote:

Every reality mosh pit needs the guy playing parent. The fellow who takes on the role of straight “Ozzy-and-Harriet” man to the comic sidekicks.

“Now children! Children! Count to ten and let’s be reasonable.”

I speak of former Utah Governor Jon “Harriet Nelson” Huntsman. He plays the Big Brother house mom nobody listens to.

There also has to be those Survivor participants who can’t seem to un-geek themselves out of the background. They get no respect. There’s got to be a former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum in the Survivor Island sanitarium, who just might yet be that forgettable middle child everyone in a big raucous family ignores until he makes his move to success unexpected.

For Mitt Romney after “Friar’s Club roasting” everyone else, I wrote:

Yes, yes, now I’ll mention him. The guy that’s Mr. Constant Winner no matter who you love more that launches, crashes and burns. He’s like Rich “nude man” Hatch or Boston Rob Mariano – the contestant on Survivor you love to hate who you can’t help watching while you yell at the TV screen as he does his slippery fish-flip-flops out of obstacle nets set by the others. He gets away with it, poisson-politicing like a peche master, ever set to spawn near or at the top of the polls, ever an existential threat swimming on as your fleeting favorites drown. I speak of that Mormon mullet Mitt in the running that a majority of Republican Christian evangelicals love to hate yet may have to hold their noses at all his mutable, moderate fishiness and vote that Pisces native of Michigan on to victory in the primaries.

If Republicans can’t find a conservative “anybody but” Governor of Mass. Mitt Romney, then he’s the moderate “anybody” but Barack Obama you Seattle Salmon throw at the Presidential Elections come 6 November 2012.

Tuesday, April 10, 2012

Tuesday, April 10, 2012:
Jesus said: “My people, Mary Magdalene was crying over My death, but she did not recognize Me in My glorified Body. When I called out her name, she then knew who I was. This is an example to My faithful that you should work on having a personal love relationship with your Lord. If you do not pray to Me or worship Me on Sundays, how am I going to recognize you at your judgment? Do not wait until your deathbed to start learning about Me. You are placed on this earth to know, love, and serve Me, and not to ignore Me. I am your Creator and Lord of your life, so you need to show Me your love if you want to come to heaven. I have shown My love to all of you by dying for your souls on the cross. You need to give Me thanks and love Me for all that I have given you. You have life, air to breathe, sun to see things, and I gave you talents to obtain what you need. You also have My unconditional love despite your sins. Wake up and realize that only by asking for My forgiveness and allowing Me to be the Master of your life, can you be ready for coming to heaven. You would much prefer to be with the One who loves you in heaven, than be with the one who hates you in the flames of hell.”

Monday, April 9, 2012

Monday, April 9, 2012:
Jesus said: “My people, after Easter Sunday your readings will focus on the accounts of My early Church in the Acts of the Apostles by St. Luke. You are now in the Easter Season that will last up until Pentecost Sunday. St. Peter was announcing My Resurrection, even though the authorities of My time did not want to accept that I rose from the dead. The Holy Spirit enabled My apostles to speak in various languages, and He gave them the courage to evangelize souls in My Name. Even though they risked their lives to speak out, they still continued to spread My Good News. My faithful of today also need to take courage from the Holy Spirit and spread My Good News to all the nations. Reach out to preach My Resurrection, and invite souls into My Church to have eternal salvation. You have been given My gift of faith, and you need to share your gift with as many souls as you can.”

Jesus said: “My people, I have talked to you before about the importance of fresh water for man’s survival. The cheapest source of fresh water comes from rainfall that you can collect and filter. Other fresh water comes from wells and aquifers. Even your Great Lakes contain 20% of the world’s fresh water. My message today is concerned with people who exploit free water for their own monetary gain. You have seen one freshwater plastic bottling company that relies on an aquifer that runs into Lake Michigan. They barely filter the fresh water, and they make millions of dollars selling it to all countries. Other people try to buy water rights to big aquifers in the Midwest, much like they buy oil rights to properties. When you have to distill or use membranes to purify salt water, water becomes much more expensive. This is done on ships or in arid places where it is too expensive to ship water in bulk. Be aware that storing water is also a part of your preparations for the tribulation, not only for drinking, but for using it to reconstitute dried foods. Everyone requires fresh water daily, but if you cannot readily obtain water, then you have a threat to your survival without a backup supply. This is also why all of My refuges need an independent source of water for survival as well. If necessary I will miraculously provide springs of water for your needs. Be thankful that there is plenty of water available, even if it requires purifying.”

Sunday, April 8, 2012

Sunday, April 8, 2012: (Easter Sunday)
Jesus said: “My people, today many people come to church on Sunday who may not come every Sunday. I want My faithful to remember that the Third Commandment says that those, who believe in Me, need to honor Me at Mass on every Sunday, not just when it is convenient. My faithful should be able to find at least one hour a week to come to Sunday Mass. If you do not establish a loving relationship with Me, then I may not recognize you when you face Me at your judgment. Daily prayer is also a way of showing Me your love. I died for all souls to show you how much I love each of you. If you truly love Me, you should show your love by more than one hour a week. Give glory and thanks to Me for bringing salvation to all souls. Rejoice with Me as you see new life spring forth from My creation.”
