Bob Dylan played China and the Apocalypse

Written by Quin Etiam on 06 April 2011

You gotta love Karma, the Universe has a twisted but fine sense of humor.
The crooks in D.C. are playing chicken to see who can siphon off another 10 Trillion from the working class before the inevitable economic Armageddon hits. The Generals are making plans to put the Marines back onto the shores of Tripoli(coming full circle in 200 years). Japan is glowing in the dark and melting down in more than one way.
Meanwhile Bob Dylan played China… but nobody could afford a ticket.
The musician who exemplified 1960s counterculture in America, Bob Dylan, performed live for the first time ever in China on Wednesday night. Although the cheapest tickets for his concert at the Workers’ Gymnasium in central Beijing sold out immediately, the venue — which normally seats 12,000 — looked only to be 65 percent full.  (Your correspondent forked over nearly $150 for her nosebleed seat, a hefty price for the average Chinese university graduate who might earn three times that a month in Beijing.)

I love the apocalypse it’s so unpredictable.
Experts now cite the escalating political turmoil in the Middle East and North Africa, and its impact on oil prices, as the biggest threat to the market, according to an exclusive CNNMoney survey.
The unrest has already triggered a nearly 20% spike in crude prices this year, amid fears that the revolts will spill over into other oil-rich countries and disrupt supplies.
“The liberalization movement has a life of its own, and my main concern is that it will spread and ultimately draw in Saudi Arabia,” said Peter Tuz, president at Chase Investment Counsel, who is among the 60% of survey respondents who identify the Middle East situation as the biggest headwind.
Experts worry that that the proliferation could push oil prices back up to the record highs of near $150 a barrel set in 2008. That could derail the economic recovery, and in turn, put a serious crimp into the stock market rally.
Gas prices will hit $5/gallon this year no matter what the DC crooks tell the people. European debt is going to rumble through the world economy and Japan will never be the same Add to all of it the Mid-East meltdown and we have a perfect storm.
But wait it will get much worse…
Did we just lose half of North Americas’ fall crop harvest because of radioactive contamination… no it’s safe, I fully trust the Government.
Did Libya just flood the WMD Black Market with 3000 Artillery shells full of chemical and nerve agents?
What? There is massive hole in the Ozone layer in the Arctic, it lets in 70 times the UV radiation from normal. Glaciers are melting 300 times faster than though possible, and those cracks in the Greenland ice-shelf are nothing to worry about. Methane bubbling up in the permafrost, no problem.
Mega-quakes that hint at earth crust displacement,( Hapgood and some guy named Einstein proposed such a theory).
Thunder On The Mountain lyrics—Bob Dylan
Thunder on the mountain, and there’s fires on the moon
A ruckus in the alley and the sun will be here soon
Today’s the day, where I’m gonna grab my trombone and blow
Well, there’s hot stuff here and it’s everywhere I go
I was thinking about Alicia Keys, couldn’t keep from crying
When she was born in Hell’s Kitchen, I was living down the line
I’m wondering where in the world Alicia Keys could be
I been looking for her even clear through Tennessee
Feel like my soul is beginning to expand
Look into my heart and you will sort of understand
You brought me here, now you’re trying to turn me away
The writing on the wall, come read it, come see what it does say
Thunder on the mountain, rolling like a drum
Going to sleep over there, that’s where the music is coming from
I don’t need any guide, I already know the way
Remember this, I’m your servant both night and day
The pistols are popping and the power is down
I’d like to try something but I’m so far from town
The sun keeps shining and the North Wind keeps picking up speed
Gonna forget about myself for a while, gonna go out and see what others need
I’ve been sitting down studying the art of love
I think it will fit me like a glove
I want some real good woman to do just what I say
Everybody got to wonder what’s the matter with this cruel world today

Thunder on the mountain rolling to the ground
Gonna get up in the morning walk the hard road down
Some sweet day I’ll stand beside my King
I wouldn’t betray your love or any other thing
Gonna raise me an army, some tough sons of bitches
I’ll recruit my army from the orphanages
I been to St. Herman’s church, said my religious vows
As I’ve sucked the milk out of a thousand cows
I’ve got the pork chops, she’s got the pie
She ain’t no angel and neither am I
Shame on your greed, shame on your wicked schemes
I’ll say this, I don’t give a damn about your dreams
Thunder on the mountain heavy as can be
Mean old twister bearing down on me
All the ladies in Washington scrambling to get out of town
Looks like something bad is going to happen, better roll your airplane down
Everybody going and I want to go too
Don’t wanna take a chance with somebody new
I did all I could, I did it right there and then
I’ve already confessed, no need to confess again
Gonna make a lot of money, gonna go up North
I’ll plant and I’ll harvest what the earth brings forth
The hammer’s on the table, the pitchfork’s on the shelf
For the love of God, you ought to take pity on yourself.
