A website created to protect children online has been found to be insecure recently, raising fresh concerns about internet security. The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre’s website contained a form which was unencrypted, meaning personal details entered on the site could have been visible to hackers. The form allows members of the public to report alleged offenders to the CEOP for crimes involving children.
