George Lucas lifts the censure on talking about what many people and scientists have been communicating to the world: the end of the world in 2012.
It seems like media, governments and also Hollywood have been alienated from what our world is facing in 2012. Maybe because the disastrous events around the world, and I’m not only referring to the Tsunami in Japan recently, are becoming that apparent that even famous people start lifting the veil on what we are ‘not supposed to know’.
No less than 25 minutes non-stop George Lucas spoke openly and seriously about how he is convinced that the world will end in 2012. Friend and colleague Steven Spielberg seems not to give in to the ban of information…yet.
And of course in the style of Hollywood, how easier to blow away the ‘crazy’ statements of George, than using a movie term…Star Wars spaceship to save himself. Ridiculizing is a common way to de-power the one who has the courage to stand up and talk about what really is happening.
