Conspiracy? Yes, maybe… but, where have you heard reported in the main-stream-media of the George Soros sponsored Bretton Woods II economic conference, taking place this weekend at the Omni Mount Washington Resort – Bretton Woods New Hampshire, with a conference them, “Crisis and Renewal: International Political Economy at the Crossroads”?
While the main stream media obnoxiously continues to spout out about the impending government shutdown, and while the Democans and Republicrats continue to squabble over a handful of billions of dollars – just a mere charade and drop in the bucket compared to the massive debt burden that is crushing America, George Soros and 200 economists, finance experts and ‘scholars’ will begin meeting Friday with a mission to change the global economy in one event.
The Mount Washington Resort was chosen symbolically, as it was the location of the historic Bretton Woods conference in 1944 that laid the groundwork for the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
During October 2009 George Soros funded the group ‘Institute for New Economic Thinking’, INET, with $50 million. A week later Soros said, “…a new Bretton Woods would have to reform the currency system”. Today, INET begins its event with the Soros intent to “establish new international rules” and “reform the currency system”.
One would think that this would be pretty big news.
But that’s not all. During this same weekend, George Soros is sponsoring a second conference in Boston, the National Conference for Media Reform, with a theme, “Change the World”. Attendees will include commissioners from the FCC, Al Jazeera executives, the head of Columbia University, Nancy Pelosi and other democratic representatives, along with 350 others.
The Soros sponsored event will focus on a return to the Fairness Doctrine, “Journalism Needs Government Help”, and ways to make U.S. media more like that in Europe while de-emphasizing the “fantasy of a free-market solution” .
George Soros, this weekend, is stealthily and surgically performing a 2-pronged attack, the outcome of which could have orders of magnitude more impact than you may think. And in fact, did you even know about this event? Thanks MSM.
