It is easy to discount Mystery Babylon as America. Even with evidence, people and scholars disagree. I don't debate the fact. This study is so much more than just this fact. The evidence and revealing nature of Mystery Babylon is worth looking at and understanding
But Mystery Babylon is so much more! It is definitive for the end times in which we live!Babylon "Flee out of" her

Isa_48: “go ye forth of Babylon, flee ye from the Chaldeans” [this is important because it refers not only to the Babylonian city state, but from all the region that it controlled, Chaldea, flee from it!” (20) Go ye forth of Babylon, flee ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye, The LORD hath redeemed his servant Jacob

Of Hebrew origin [H894]; Babylon, the capital of Chaldaea (literally or figuratively as a type of tyranny): - Babylon
Babel and Babylon are H894, the same Hebrew word, meaning “confusion [by mixing]”; and Babylon in Revelation 18 is G897 a direct Hebrew origin also meaning “confusion [by mixing]!
Babel, and Babylon are currently in present day Iraq. Iraq and surrounding areas are well equipped with oil.
Mystery Babylon refers to America; a land that currently uses more oil than any other nation, whose major oil companies have been up to their proverbial arm pits in oil fields around the world. These are major companies, international conglomerates, with vast resources, wealth, and develop oil all over the globe.
As with Babel and even Babylon of old; Mystery Babylon also gathers the multitudes from around the world. They were a mix of all those people in the earth, a mixture of races, and brotherhood of men, all whom mingle together in Babylon.
Also they mingle and mix to obtain fodder, a term used to describe what you feed animals with. I.E, people came to these areas to be able to feed themselves and their families. It was a gathering place, a point that people wanted to come. It was the place to find sustenance, survive, and even live. They brought with them a mix of cultures, races, creeds, languages [after babel], and much more.
