Although HTC's 3D phone, the EVO 3D, won't be available until this summer, Best Buy employees have been told they are allowed to take preorders for the device starting today.
But only if the customer asks for it.
A Best Buy memo, uncovered by Android Community, says employees can't actively promote the EVO 3D pre order, but can offer it if a customer asks about it.
Employees are also banned from telling customers about any rumors and speculation related to the phone. They can only say that it's expected to launch this summer and that it is the first glasses-free 3D phone.
Those of you dying for HTC's first 3D phone can lock one down now.
