Mario Freedom's Space: Signs

Of all the Spiritual Tools at our disposal, learning to look for Nature Signs is perhaps the most fun. And, at least for me, it is always an adventure.

It is 2003 and the beginning of my 2 years at the School for Spiritual Healing and Prophecy. I was "called" to the school. I couldn't imagine not being there. And yet I also couldn't imagine that I would ever be able to work with the energy as my teachers did every day.

Feeling a bit overwhelmed I set out on a Nature Signs walk. I left the hotel, centered, and spoke my request to "whatever" was listening. What was I doing here? For what purpose have I entered this school and what did I need to know to succeed?

Remembering that God was everywhere I began walking forward slowly. Getting quiet and staying aware I allowed my feet to guide me. As I walked I relaxed and allowed the peace of LilyDale to surround me and soothe me.

Without conscious awareness I found myself approaching a large stump to the right of the Healing temple. With a bit more urgency I climbed the small hill so I could view the top of the stump. Somehow I knew what I was about to witness would significantly affect my life.

A withered plant with several intertwining branches grew out of the top of the stump. On these branches I noticed two, no three ladybugs moving around. The ladybugs were easy to tell apart, each having their own number of spots.

No Spot was having a lot of difficulty maneuvering through the branches. She just could not get the hang of climbing over the intersecting limbs. For several minutes I watched as she continually approached a barrier and then backed up to find another way around.

I was not the only one who noticed her difficulties. Two Spot also noticed and made his way towards No Spot. Coming from the other direction he approached the barrier that kept No Spot from advancing and deftly made his way to the top and down the other side.

No Spot was ecstatic and as soon as Two Spot got out of her way she approached the same barrier again, with confidence, and climbed to the top and down the other side. Giddy now she turned around and did it again, and again and again. She couldn't get enough.

That is until she spotted Many Spot. Many Spot was on the other side of the stump. Many Spot was not only climbing up and over barriers she was climbing up a branch that was going, well, up. No Spot had never done anything like that before but she decided to try. After all, if Many Spot could reach for the sky so could she. No Spot made her way slowly toward Many Spot watching as the colorful Ladybug made her way up and then down a branch. Many Spot continually repeated this exercise, almost as if she knew she was being watched. It was as if she very much wanted No Spot to learn.

No Spot approached the branch and began to climb. Higher and higher she climbed and I swear to this day I could feel her pride in my own heart as she quickly mastered this new skill. And then, as No Spot approached the top of the branch she turned slightly, spread her wings, let go, and glided slowly back down to the stump surface.

My friend No Spot did not just learn from her teachers that day, she surpassed them. No one told her she could fly yet somehow she just knew. In a period of about thirty minutes she went from a timid novice who could not get over a small barrier to a master, reaching for the heavens and then risking everything for the thrill of the flight. Risking and succeeding.

Thanking my friends I turned away and began the walk back to my classmates and my teachers. With tears in my eyes I knew I had been given a phenomenal gift and my gratitude was immense. I also knew that it was a gift not just for me but for everyone. Everyone willing to stay open, everyone who wanted to learn.

We are to watch our teachers, watch them carefully. We are to practice what they show us, practice until it becomes ours. And then we are meant to push the boundaries and move past our teachers. Each one of us, in our own way, is meant to fly.

To take your own Day Sign walk step outside, breath and say a prayer thanking the Universe for the messages you are about to receive. Ask your question, state your problem, and then let it go. Begin your walk in whichever direction your feet want to go. Pay attention to the wind, the animals you meet, the foliage that catches your eye. Do not ignore the people you might meet on your walk for they too may provide you with the information you are seeking. Do not judge your thoughts, simply watch them and allow them to go wherever they wish. Trust that all the answers to all the questions are available and will be provided as you learn to open to receive. End your walk when you sense it is time for it to end. Do not expect the messages you receive to be as clear as the one I received that day in 2003. They are often much more subtle, sometimes not fully forming for hours or perhaps even days. Trust that the information will be made available in its own way and in its own time.

21 Signs Of Impending Doom For The 2011 Economy

If you are not aware of how rapidly the global economic situation is unraveling you need to snap out of it and start paying attention. The world economy was relatively stable in 2010, but here in 2011 things are deteriorating very quickly. Right now there is major civil unrest in at least a dozen different nations in Africa and the Middle East. The civil war going on in Libya has sent the price of oil skyrocketing and the protests that are scheduled to begin in Saudi Arabia later this month could send oil prices even higher. Meanwhile, the sovereign debt crisis in Europe just seems to get worse by the day. Several nations in Europe are suddenly finding that it has become extremely expensive to finance more debt. It appears that it will only be a matter of time before more bailouts are needed. Meanwhile, the United States is also covered in a sea of red ink and the economic situation in the largest economy on earth continues to deteriorate rapidly. It is as if the entire world financial system has caught a virus that it just can't shake, and now it looks like another massive wave of financial disaster could be about to strike. Does the global economy have enough strength to weather a major oil crisis in 2011? How much debt can the largest nations in North America and Europe take on before the entire system collapses under the weight? Will 2011 be a repeat of 2008 or are we going to be able to get through the rest of the year okay? Only time will tell.

But it is quickly becoming clear that we are reaching a tipping point. If the price of oil keeps going up, all hopes for any kind of an "economic recovery" will be completely wiped out. But if the globe does experience another economic slowdown, it could potentially turn the simmering sovereign debt crisis into an absolute nightmare. The U.S. and most nations in Europe are having a very difficult time servicing their debts and they desperately need tax revenues to increase. If another major economic downturn causes tax revenues to go down again it could unleash absolute chaos on world financial markets.

The global economy is more interconnected than ever, and so a major crisis in one area of the world can have a cascading effect on the rest of the globe. Just as we saw back in 2008, if financial disaster strikes nobody is going to escape completely unscathed.

So what should we expect for the rest of 2011? Well, the truth is that it doesn't look good. The following are 21 signs of impending doom for the 2011 economy....

#1 The civil war in Libya now looks like it could drag on for an extended period of time, and that is likely to drive the global price of oil even higher.

#2 Barack Obama is publicly saying that NATO is now considering "potential military options" for solving the crisis in Libya.

#3 Kuwait exports more oil than Libya does, and it looks like the civil unrest that has been sweeping the rest of the Middle East is now starting to spread to that country.

#4 In Saudi Arabia, protest groups are planning a "Day of Rage" on March 11th. If a revolution breaks out in that nation the entire global economy is going to be thrown into turmoil.

#5 The average price of a gallon of gasoline in the United States increased by 33 cents during the two-week period that ended last Friday.

#6 According to the Oil Price Information Service, U.S. drivers spent an average of $347 on gasoline during the month of February, which was 30 percent more than a year earlier.

#7 It is being reported that the average price of a gallon of gasoline in Europe has hit an all-time record of $8.63 a gallon.

#8 Ivory Coast produces nearly 40 percent of all the cocoa in the world and protests against the government there are becoming increasingly violent. If this violence continues to escalate you will soon be paying a lot more for chocolate.

#9 The yield on 10-year Portuguese bonds has increased to 7.6%.

#10 The yield on 10-year Irish bonds has soared to 8.1%.

#11 The yield on 10-year Greek bonds has skyrocketed to a whopping 12.8%.

#12 Moody’s Investors Service has reduced the rating of Greek government debt three levels all the way down to B1.

#13 According to the United Nations, the global price of food set another brand new record high during the month of February. That was the 8th month in a row that global food prices have gone up.

#14 According to the World Bank, global food prices have soared 29% over the last 12 months.

#15 The United Nations is projecting that the global price of food will increase by another 30 percent by the end of 2011.

#16 23 percent of all residential properties with a mortgage in the U.S. were in negative equity as of the end of 2010.

#17 In the state of Nevada, approximately 65 percent of all homeowners with a mortgage owe more on their mortgages than their homes are worth.

#18 Two years ago, the average U.S. homeowner that was being foreclosed upon had not made a mortgage payment in 11 months. Today, the average U.S. homeowner that is being foreclosed upon has not made a mortgage payment in 17 months.

#19 Since 2005, the United States has shelled out 1.1 trillion dollars for products from China but China has only spent 272 billion dollars on products from the United States. This trade imbalance is causing the global financial system to become increasingly unstable.

#20 Collectively, the 50 U.S. state governments are facing a budget shortfall of 125 billion dollars for fiscal 2012.

#21 The U.S. government had a budget deficit of 233 billion dollars during the month of February, which was the largest federal budget deficit ever recorded for a single month.

We are living in the middle of the biggest debt bubble in the history of the world, and a major oil crisis could potentially be the needle that bursts it for good. But if the global debt bubble bursts it is going to be a financial disaster unlike anything we have ever seen before.

Let's hope that things can hold together for the rest of 2011, but right now things look really shaky.

You might want to make sure that your assets are protected and that you are not overexposed because a lot of people are going to get wiped out if things take a turn for the worse.

The economic good times that so many of us have enjoyed for decades are not guaranteed to last forever. The world is changing and it is becoming increasingly unstable.

Nobody is quite sure what is going to happen next, but at this point just about anything is possible.

What Are the Warning Signs of the End Times?

What are the warning signs of the end times? Many Christians refer to the days in which we're living as "the End Times," but this is inaccurate. The Bible never uses the expression "the End Times" (plural). Instead, when talking about the final period of world history it focuses exclusively on the last 3 ½ years and calls this period "the time of the End" (Daniel 11:35, 40; 12:9). Every time Christ spoke of those days, he called them "the End" (Matthew 24:6, 13, 14) and "the End" pertains to just the 3 ½ years of the Tribulation. (See Matthew 24:15, 21.) Contrary to what many Christians believe, therefore, we are not yet in the Time of the End. This may seem like a minor point, but it is very important.

Now, it is accurate to say that we are living in the Last Days, but this is quite a general term, since even the early Christians 2,000 years ago were already living in "the last days" (Acts 2:17; Hebrews 1:2; 1 Peter 1:20), since the "last days" were inaugurated by the death of Jesus Christ and his resurrection from the dead.

I say all this because of the oft-stated but misleading belief that "we're living in the End Times." The Doomsday Clock is supposed to have started ticking on May 14, 1948 when Israel became a nation again after nearly 2,000 years of the Jewish people having no country of their own. It's true that this event was part of a countdown to Armageddon, but it did not initiate a 40-year timetable like Hal Lindsey and many others thought. The End did not happen in 1988, after all. So the best that can be said is that these specific events of the 20th century were a necessary preparation, laying the groundwork for the future Time of the End.

Another event that had to happen was for Europe (which once made up the bulk of the Roman Empire) to unite again as a kingdom. This had not happened since Rome fell to the barbarians in 476 A.D. Central Europe had been united in the Holy Roman Empire and most of Europe had been temporarily conquered by Napoleon then Hitler, but not until the formation of the European Economic Community in 1958 (renamed the European Union in 1993) did a united Europe begin to become a reality. Daniel 7:7-8; 23-25 tells us that ten horns (kings) would arise out of a terrible beast (the Roman Empire) and Revelation 17:12 states that these ten kings would surrender their power to the Antichrist, their new dictator.

Here is a third sign that we are living in the period not long before the End Time: Daniel 12:4 states, "Seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." For 20 centuries after this prophecy, mankind's total knowledge base expanded slowly; by the 1930s, however, our accumulated knowledge grew twofold each 30 years; in the 1970s, it doubled every 7 years; by 2010, the world's cumulative store of knowledge will double every 12 hours. Knowledge is advancing at a fantastic speed in the decades before the End. In addition, today's rapid, long-distance transportation, from cars, trains, subways, and jets enables multiple millions to run "to and fro" to the farthest corners of the globe.
