A List of some Favorite Weather Links

list-of-weather-links

The following list of weather links I have found to be interesting and useful. Maybe you will too. They are primarily US-centric, so, apologies to the rest of the world.

I have built a US weather summary page which includes latest snapshots of US temperatures, radar, convective outlook (T-storms and Tornadoes), forecast map, lightning, and east and west coast satellite (visible and infrared).

I have built a US regional weather radar page which includes the latest regional radar loops. This is a great page to have a closer look at the precipitation and current storms around the country.

There are many countless weather sites out there on the internet, and my Firefox browser ‘weather’ bookmarks contain more links than any other category (I might have been a meteorologist in a previous life…) so here are just a few of my saved links for those of you who are interested in the weather around you.

Lots of map options. Nice radar display. Full screen is very nice, with capability to zoom in. Click the ‘US’ icon in the upper-left for a nice overview.
