Unreported aftershocks at Vancouver Island Canada Region

We hear of many discrepancies in earthquake reporting: many are not posted or are deleted after being recorded, no reason given.
Aftershocks from the Vancouver Island region were reported up to 4.9 magnetude. This is an active region for seismic activity, yet we rarely see anything listed on earthquake maps. So, in other words, we are not getting all the information about earthquakes and aftershocks.
The magnetude of the larger quake is different on most maps. Here at Global Incidents Map there were 2 earthquakes documented:
http://quakes.globalincidentmap.com/

Magnitude: 6.7

DateTime: Friday September 9 2011, 19:41:30 UTC

Region: Vancouver Island, Canada region

Depth: 2 km

Magnitude: 6.4

DateTime: Friday September 9 2011, 19:41:34 UTC

Region: Vancouver Island, Canada region

Depth: 23 km

Here is the report from CBC News - aftershocks were expected and did occur:

"There's a certainty there will be aftershocks," he said. "Already, we've had half a dozen, with the largest being 4.9. But there's going to be hundreds of aftershocks ... potentially measured over the next week."
