The basic world view as we saw on TV, was one of either rejoicing when an enemy has died or being sad because a hero or friend passes. The Christian world view is tempered by Gods word . It is that word deep in our hearts that guides our Christian world view.
For Example, when I first saw that Bin Laden was dead, I knew the L-rd had cut him off. The wicked and wickedness has a time to flourish, then the end comes. However, the judge is the L-rd G-d, I personally take no pleasure in the death of the wicked. Man might be relieved, pleased, or even joyful, but the truth is; there is no pleasure in his death. That is, if you understand fully scripture. This is Christian world view in application.
Scripture:
Proverbs 24: 16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
17Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:
18Lest the LORD see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.
19Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked:
20For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.Yet for all my own applying of a Christian world view it doesn’t change the situation. It changes and molds me to live in this present world for Christ. Thus as I beheld the situation regarding Bin Laden I saw the joyus and often silly to the point of stupidity over his death. Yet as I reflect on this I don’t shed tears at his demise. He sowed his life and he will stand before G-d for what he has done. He has blood on his hands and head, he has paid for the shedding of innocent blood by the justice of the L-rd. Again, Christian world view applied.

Yet as we read and apply this Christian world view we are warned. We are consoled, and we will be held to account for all we do. So in regard to a Christian world view we must be careful. Walking in love and yet in line with scripture. Again the question is asked, “if you are joyful over the death of bin laden, then are you also sad over the death of innocents killed in wars that the US has had a hand in. A hand of war using technology and violence in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Do you understand that too, “is the shedding of innocent blood?” We then see the concept of keeping a Christian world view.Warn Radio and the Watchman
